Description

AndroMedia Video Editor is a video editing app made for the Android mobile platform. It has a simple design and boasts of several features, none of which work very well. 

As soon as the app was installed, an Adware warning popped up. While it held a lot of promise, it fell short by a mile.

It's free, but has warnings stating it allows for advertisements to get pushed to your phone.

Tips, tricks, and tutorials

1) Do not allow ads to get pushed to your phone.

2) Limit length and number of clips to minimum possible.

3) When attempting to add a Title slide, you need to press the 3 dots icon on the top right corner to get options to add and save.

What the Tool Does Well

The options for transitions and cropping, duplication and moving clips across the timeline works well.

Being able to edit audio separately is a plus.

What it Does Poorly

1) Render time is too long.

2) App crashes when video rendered is too long.

3) Constant reminder about ads.

What happens when you...

When I tried rendering a 5 minute video of screenshots with no audio, the app crashed immediately.

When I try setting duration for a clip to less than 5 seconds, it becomes really hard to place the marker accurately using the drag toolbar.

When I tried setting two or more transitions at once, the app crashed.
