Tips, tricks, and tutorials

Easy to upload and contribute.

What the Tool Does Well

Gives you ideas of "art" you can make...gets you "unstuck" and "motivated"...the host even encourages artist to make something hoping it would motivate another person's script, character development...collaboration.

Surrounds you with other artists/makers and gives you the moral support you need.

This site is a producer's dream (raw footage at your finger tips!)

This site is an editors practice ground...practice makes perfect...the more things you shoot and edit...the better you get!  (the same goes for Every Artists that contributes to this site.)

PAY ARTIST...that's right...when you contribute...you get paid!  Wow!

What it Does Poorly

I wish I could take just "parts" of someone's video and edit it and then mix it in mine quickly and easily.  (That's what "they" do but I think we could eliminate some work for them and help tell our story that way and further "collaborate".  My question is "who does assemble the contributions...do they choose the artist?

Really I think this site is Amazing!

What happens when you...

make something and publish it...?

make something and "they" like it and use it on their now tv series on Pivot?

answers will be revealed in class.

Additional Resources

The host, is very encouraging and supportive.  The motivation behind his efforts is that this was started by his brother and him and his brother has passed away but he is determined to keep the process going.  To the point of stating "This could be this generations DreamWorks."
