What the Tool Does Well

- Once you learn Pro Tools, person has ability to use pretty much any audio editing software. 

- The go-to system for studio recording. 

- Using multi-track is great. Ability to have 45 different tracks in use. 

- Any Pro Tools session can be opened on any Pro Tools system. 

- Saves sessions in an easy to find way. 

- Ability to automate complex edits. 

- Online and classroom training available. 

What it Does Poorly

- Expensive

- Does not include effects, must purchase plug-ins. 

- Will not work without a Pro Tools approved audio interface. 

- Not very user friendly

- Takes time to learn the nuances of the system.
