The types of images you can create include:

Access

Fotor is free and available online and in application form. Some of the features require payment, but not anything mandatory to edit a good photo. It is available on Windows, Windows 8, Mac, Iphone, and Android. It is available in English and Portuguese.

Sample Usage

Online, you can edit photographs with the many different editing options.

You can add borders, clip art, and many more things to edit an image. Each item is customizable such as it's size and opacity. Online, all features are free.

Including making photo cards for numerous occasions like birthdays and holidays.

On mobile, you can adjust the size and look of your photo, but some of the features like photo cards and clip art are not available on mobile and some of the features (like some of the filters or techniques) require purchasing.

What the Tool Does Well

The tool is very hands-on. All of the functions seem to be very universal in the context of image editing. Saving images once edited and uploading to social network platforms is a seamless process. The user can be as creative and involved in their editing, as they want to be, or let the tool do the work for them with one touch enhancing or choosing a preset filter. The tool has an excellent user interface and is very user friendly. It’s a simple tool that is very effective at helping the user create beautiful, professional looking photos.

What it Does Poorly

To access the tool via the web, the user must have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. It may be problematic for users with tablets that do not have the capability of loading Adobe Flash Player. The tool (on mobile) saves a copy of the original and the edited version in the phone’s photo album, and also saves a copy of the edited version in an album within the application. This many copies of one picture takes up a lot of storage space and can be a hassle to track down and delete images in multiple locations. While easy to use, the one click enhance option (automatic editing) is not always visually appealing and sometimes uses poor judgment like over saturating the image.
