Vizualize.me is an online resume generator. You can create a profile, enter in your stats, choose a template, and edit how it looks. Or, you can just log in using linkedin account and your information is already added.

Pros:

-easy to navigate

-easy to publish

-you only have to put your info in once

-template colors and fonts can be edited

-Can upload your own background image or pattern

 

Cons:

-Not many templates available

-Cannot change other aspects of the templates such as order and shapes used.

-Can’t create your own template

-Not acceptable resume for all jobs

-Topics tab has formatting kinks 

-Portfolio has been taken away

-Not able to print or export as a PDF (coming soon)

-Too much emphasis on little things

 

How To Make Your Own Vizualize.me:

-Create an Account or sign in with LinkedIn

-Click on the sections under “profile” and add your data for each applicable section

-Click on ‘Themes’ and try a few out until you find one you like. (As you click on a theme, your data will change to fit that template automatically)

-Click on ‘Styles’ and edit colors, fonts, and background to fit your liking

*Portfolio can no longer be uploaded. It is now a "Topics" tab which is a place to post discussions or pictures. You are able to see how many views those articles have, and people can follow those individual posts.

 

 

 

How to Share your resume:

-Click on ‘Share’ at the top right. You can choose how to publish your resume by either a link, a small icon, and a small icon with a short description. Or just click on the social networking site or blog that you want to share it on.

Dashboard:

The dashboard tracks the number of visits you receive, where they came from, and how many of them are ‘unique.’  (not yourself I guess)
