Overview:

Songza is a web based radio station. The program can be viewed online and through mobile technology. The application allows members to create, share, and view playlists. Members are allowed to listen to music based on genre, mood, activities, and other interest.

Tool connected to Songza:

The tool can be accessed from Facebook or an email account. If the member logs on from Facebook they have the option to share and see music list from their friends. Apps can be purchased for both Andriod and iTunes. Members are also allowed to share what they are listening to on Twitter. Sharing is easy and fun for people to share playlist with friends.

Where to access:

Songza can be accessed from computers at http://songza.com/ or from mobile devices. The app can be downloaded from iTunes and Andriod.

What the tool does WELL:

The site is easy to use and allows members several options to create and share music.

What it does POORLY:

The site seems to be simple, but it was difficult to sign up from my computer. I did not want to connect with Facebook, but that’s the only option from desktop. I was able to sign on from Andriod.

The other issue that members complained about was the music stations cutting off while playing.
