Photovisi is a free online tool where users can create custom digital photo collages. It has an intuitive web interface and requires no download to create collage images. To print images, however, the user must download the tool's pre-packaged pdf maker freeware.



To create a custom collage the user selects from a pre-defined selection of templates. The available templates are categorized for the user into descriptive headings such as girly, or wedding or abstract to aid the user in quickly locating the style they wish to employ in their collage. Many of the templates are very whimsical in style which may or may not be appropriate for the user's aesthetic. 

The tool is 100% free which means that it is advertising supported. There is a large banner ad that appears at the top of the interface that some users may find intrusive.  Some of the predefined templates require the user to create an account before they can be used. Creating an account is simple and requires the user to submit their email address and create a password.  The tool can be integrated with social media by way of Facebook and Twitter. Users can also login with their Facebook credentials if they opt to link accounts. Upon creating an account the user is prompted to opt in to additional emails from Photovisi. After selecting a template the user then uploads their photos into the tool. Users can use photos that are stored online, on their pc, or captured via webcam. 

Once photos have been added to the tool the user can arrange, rotate, and re-size their images any way they wish within the predefined template. Once complete the user has the option to share their creation via popular social media including Facebook and Twitter, or email their collage to select recipients. Again, users have the additional option of printing their collages by way of the supplmental pdf maker which requires download. Images are deleted after four days. Here is a sample collage that I did using pictures of my niece and nephew.
