-Frames-
- Frames (http://www.tech4learning.com/frames/eval_download.html) is a moving image animation software that must be downloaded to a computer. Everyone can do so for a free, 30-day trial. Users can create animations, stories, presentations, etc, with this software. It is fairly easy to figure out, but I am sure there are many bells and whistles I have yet to discover. Users can create moving text, moving images, talking dinosaurs, or anything else they can create and want to use for their show. Frames can also be extended and shortened in time.
- Anyone can download and try the software free, for 30 days. After that, the software must be purchased by users.
- Frames is a simpler version of any animation program. For those who do not want to dive into Maya, Frames is much simpler for them. It seems like a really good program to attract children to learn, so teachers might use it for that reason. The only downside I've seen is that I haven't quite figured out all the ins and outs of the program yet, that would take awhile, as with any new program. It's not unfriendly to use though.
