Tips, tricks, and tutorials

What the Tool Does Well

  • Saves time
  • Provides consistency
  • Simplifies tasks that are repetitive
  • Can launch programs or open folders with text snippets
  • More in-depth than most text expansion programs, snippets are highly customizable
  • Clipboard Manager: rather than just being able to access the last copied item, you can view more recently copied content
  • Pocket Calculator: PhraseExpress can perform many simple calculations as you type

What it Does Poorly

  • Can be time consuming to create library of phrases
  • Sometimes it saves phrases that you used twice, but may never use again
  • Enables AutoCorrect and stalks your typing in all programs/software when running... so it can be annoying

What happens when you...

  • Can help keep signatures in Social media consistent regardless of website/service
