Comic Creator Review

by Luke Bernfeld

Description

Comic creator allows the user to make comic book style pages with either its built in library, or the users own images. Each panel is its own space and the user is able to add images that are bigger than the panel and adjust them within the space as they see fit. Text and effect bubbles are easy to use and can be snapped within the panel.

Access

Comic Creator can be found online at http://www.summitsoft.com/products/home-and-hobbies-software/comic-creator.html and costs $19.99.

What the Tool Does Well

This tool makes it easy to use your own images to build a comic style project. The interface makes importing several images at once easy and the building of pages and scenes smooth and easy to understand.

What it Does Poorly

There is no way to edit images from inside the tool. Also the auto formatting of images to fit within the panels can sometimes place images in odd positions. The pre-packaged images and backgrounds are low quality.
